Philosophy of the Church

The Church:
  • The church is both horizontal and vertical.  We reach out to each other and reach up to God for relationship and fellowship.
  • In turn, the Church then turns to reach out to others so they too can find the love and fellowship made possible through Jesus Christ.

Leadership:
  • Planning, inclusion, mutuality, and participation are the watchwords of good leadership.

Discipleship:
  • The goal of discipleship is to create Christlike behaviors and thinking in the life of the believer.
  • To help them develop the gifts, graces, and values of the new life found in Jesus Christ.
  • Why? Growth, replication, and expansion of the Gospel in the hearts of men and women.
